Food insecurity is a major problem facing communities all across our country. When we think of hunger we often think of the homeless living on the streets with no place to go, but research shows people living above the poverty line are experiencing food insecurity also. One major factor influencing food insecurity is unemployment. Millions of people across the United States demonstrate a risk of food insecurity. Here at Seven Baskets Full (SBF), we focus on this specific need for all families facing food insecurity. We want to bridge the gap of need by helping individuals and families who need food and personal care items in our communities. Seven Baskets Full is a Christian-based company that is dedicated to helping those in need. We want to illustrate the love and kindness that Jesus exemplified. We are hoping that every gift will flourish and multiply into something astronomical and amazing just as Jesus fed the multitudes with only 7 loaves of bread and few small fish.
